Arinsal Resort – Learning to ski in Arinsal

Ski School – Arinsal is one of the most famous places in Europe to learn to ski in as it has a superb English speaking ski school. You will also find child care facilities on the slopes too making for a relaxing family holiday knowing that little ones are being well cared for.

The ski school will quickly teach you the basics so that by the end of the week you can try some of the other pistes Arinsal has to offer or maybe take a trip on the cable car over to Pal. Remember the Ski School although an essential part of your holiday if you are a beginner, they also offer many different levels so maybe you have been once or twice before so they can offer you lessons to suit, or if you are more advanced they also offer various levels of intermediate lessons as well as advanced.

Although famous for families, it’s also a popular destination for young 1st time skiers looking for a cheap destination but also a lively one due to Arinsal’s lively nightlife scene. The ski school is not only a great way to improve your skiing or snowboarding, but also to meet other like minded people who you probably end up having a few drinks with over the week.

Lift Passes – The ski area of Arinsal is part of the Vallnord Ski area which also gives you access to the ski lifts in the resort of Pal and Arcalis. The Arinsal/Pal & Arcalis lift pass allows you to use all the lifts in all 3 of the resorts for the duration of your stay.  If you book a 4 day lift pass or more, you can also ski for one day in the Grandvalira ski area.

Equipment Rental – If it’s your first time on the slopes then the standard equipment level is suitable for you to rent. If you are an intermediate or advanced level then you may want to upgrade your equipment to a superior or advanced level. The staff in the ski rental shops are all trained to help you during the ski fitting process so don’t worry if this is your first time
